The Hometown Bank journey began over ten years ago with the vision of President, Lonnie W. Heckmaster, and a small group of local investors. With the belief that the residents of Southwest Missouri wanted and deserved a locally owned and operated bank that was focused on providing Exceptional customer service and improving the communities that it served, Hometown Bank was born.
Hometown Bank opened for business on June 8, 1998 with one location in Carthage, Missouri. In ten short years, we have grown from that one location in Carthage to seven locations serving the communities of Carthage, Joplin, Neosho, Oronogo, and Pineville.
