The Mid Missouri Credit Union began on January 28, 1954 as NFFE # 738 Credit Union. It was started to serve members of the National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE) #738. They started the Credit Union with only $325.00 between them. The Credit Union grew and later changed to Federal Employee Credit Union, then Big Piney Credit Union, then Fort Leonard Wood Credit Union, and finally, Mid Missouri Credit Union in 1995.

We are a community Credit Union, which means you don't have to be a member of a certain organization to join. As long as you work or live in the following nine county areas you are eligible to join: Pulaski, Benton, Camden, Hickory, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Phelps, and Texas.

The Mid Missouri Credit Union now has five branches. We have over 120 Million dollars in assets, with over 21,000 members, and a total of 77 employees.
